2. Legal framework

We process your data pursuant to the Ecuadorian Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data (Official Gazette Supplement 459, 26 May 2021), its General Regulation issued in 2023 and the guidelines published by the Superintendency for the Protection of Personal Data during 2024, 2025 and 2026.

3. Data we collect

We collect the full name, email address and country provided voluntarily through the newsletter form. We also collect technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, based on the consent managed by Google Consent Mode v2.

4. Purposes

We use your data to send you the educational real estate crowdlending newsletter, measure site performance, respond to contact requests and comply with legal obligations. We do not use it to build automated profiles with legal effects.

5. Legal basis

The basis is your free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent, given when subscribing or accepting cookies. You may withdraw it at any time by writing to privacidad@alvarosrec.com.

6. Processors and recipients

We share data with transactional email providers (inside and outside Ecuador) under a data processing agreement. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes.

7. International transfers

Some providers may reside in countries with an adequate level of protection or under model contractual clauses approved by the Ecuadorian Superintendency for the Protection of Personal Data.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, updating, deletion, objection, portability and not to be subject to automated decisions. Write to privacidad@alvarosrec.com; we will reply within a maximum of 15 business days.

9. Retention

We keep your data while you are subscribed to the newsletter and for up to three additional years to comply with accounting and evidential obligations in Ecuador.

10. Supervisory authority

You may file complaints before the Ecuadorian Superintendency for the Protection of Personal Data, based in Quito.
